Well opening day was this past sat. for the boys.
Patton's game was at 11:15. I missed it along with the ceremonies to. I could have changed my schedule around but I never did for Payton so I am not going to for the boys. The only thing I missed was Tim and Darlene Garrett. My heart breaks for her I could not imagine losing a child.
Brad said Patton had a good game. He looks so little out there in that big field. Parker's game was exciting. They all did some good fielding and they all had some good hits. I am glad that Parker has such a good coach that has the same beliefs as us. It is only a game, they are only 7, and really they are out to have fun not out for blood. Some of these parents tell their kids that they have to be the best that #1 is the only way to be. Do I have news for them, wait until they get older and then have fun with them! I guess now days the kids don't even have to be older to sas off to their parents and hurt other kids feelings with their constant competition! I just want to tell these kids to enjoy life! Yes I would be lying if I said I did want only the best for my kids, but they have to know that it won't be a constant thing all the time, sometimes they have to take the back seat and enjoy the view there to. Oh well I don't think I have to worry about my kids to much they have a lot of playmates and for the most part are decent kids.
See some of you at the ball park!

Tasty late Tuesday
Okay do you ever wonder what to do with all that chocolate your kids get for Easter? I asked Patton what he wanted to make and he said chocolate cake so I decided to incorporated some of that candy into my cake. All I did was got a box cake mix (double chocolate for us) I added Carmel sauce, m&m's, three musketeers, and Hershey kisses. For the icing I just melted icing and drizzled it over and Carmel syrup and then added nuts, and three musketeers crushed up on top. Easy and delicious!
The winner of this week is Larry. Larry come get your yummy's!

I found you!
Just wanted to give Kamryn a big good job! She got her first hair cut and was so good! Kamryn is 18 months old (i think) and going to big big sister soon. Her mom and dad (Bri and nathaniel Trowbridge) are expecting in June. Another new baby to hold that is if grandma Bec will give him up!

Neighbor Larry went Mushroom hunting and brought back these big mushrooms. "Sweet Mama's" as Patton would say!

Patton is ready to get them cooked

Garfield could hardly keep his excitement in

Parker and Patton got to meet "Smiles" today. Parker really thinks his name is smiles! Very cute of Parker tonight. Patton did not show much interest except when mommy was holding him.

Big cousin Parker. All Parker wanted to do was pet him!

The boys with the proud papa

Bobo and his new grandbaby

Proud Auntie M. I thought my kids were cute Miles is just perfect. I guess us Tompson's know how to make cute kids!
Well the two turkeys finally got their turkeys! Brads is a little bit on the small side and he accidentally tore off the tail feathers but oh well at least he finally got his. Brad was very excited that he and his dad went hunting together. Now if we could only work on his deer hunting skills he will have it made!
