Does the fighting ever STOP???
Well the boys seem to be fighting over something all the time these days! I had warned them I was going to put them in time out and make them hug and kiss each other if they didn't stop fighting. Well I try my hardest to follow through with my threats, as you can see below. I made them sit in time out hugging each other for 5 whole minutes. When the timer went off they had to give each other a kiss on the check. That wasn't to hard for Patton, but Parker thought it was awful. I just want to teach them the importance of having a brother or sister. They are pretty lucky to have each other and I don't want them to miss out on something because they were to busy fighting over a toy or something stupid. They should be each others dearest friends.

I think Patton was enjoying Parker's embarrassment a little to much. Look at that grin!
Morris the cat
Morris has been with us for about four years now. Out of all Patton's animal friend's Morris always takes priority. Well one day while watching a movie Patton fell asleep and I do believe Morris felt like he should take care of his big buddy and help him sleep. Okay, okay Patton had to be holding Morris really tight and he was to scared to run away! Morris is a great cat who takes a beating, chasing, target practice, what have you, and he keeps coming back for more.

Maddox and Patton
While going through my pictures on my camera I found a few I would like to post. This was taken a while back when Maddox came over to play. It was time to pick up the kids from school so the boys were getting their shoes on. I went to help Maddox tie his shoes and big buddy Patton had already done the job. Okay so I put a few double knots in them too but it worked. Maddox, thanks for playing Police saucer, and farm, and fire fighters, and bad guys. Patton is berry glad that he has a bestest friend like you!

Happy 27th birthday Dad, Bobo!
I asked the boys how old they thought Bobo was going to be and Patton said I don't know 27?
We then asked him how old he thought Grandma Poopsie was and he replied very old. Grandma just laughed. What am I going to do with that boy?

My dad with his Christmas present us kids got him.

The grand kids except Payton decorated this cake for him. Patton did the blue, Mitch did the green, and Parker did the red. Mikeala did the writing and rosettes.

The kids and a few adults were seeing how many pillows they could jump over. I happened to remember my camera at the tail end of the fun. One of us adults tripped over our feet and landed face first in the carpet. Wish I had my camera for that one!
P.S. the music I have no idea about it is sang by DJ Bobo so I thought that was the right song for the job!

Christmas 08!
Well I am glad it is all over with. Come Monday it will be back to normal with the kid's back into school. I am looking forward to a decent routine again. I didn't think we had one until the break and decided that our crazy life and schedule was not to bad! I hope everyone had a great holiday season!
our little Penny Princess and Patton's stuffed dogie
I think Payton was a little surprised
We got the boys new sunglasses. They are blue Oakley's with flames on the side. They thought those flames made them really cool!
Patton got dad a new set of pliers at secret Santa.
Patton got a new blue blanket he couldn't get over how soft it was. He has two just like it, but he chews on the silk edging so with this one he says there are no pieces chewed out!
My two boys
Christmas at Mema and Bobo's. Uncle Mikey you look so excited!
My mom always gets some dumb gift this year she didn't do to bad. She did get Matt and Lindsey these matching hats. The sad part is that Matt actually grabbed it by accident and wore it to the bank.
About 23 years ago my dad wright a poem on the stars, I found it and had Mitch Erwin take a picture of the stars and frame it for him. I do believe he liked it!

A Mexican Christmas Tree

ginger bread house

chocolate covered marshmallow Santa sleigh

a pretty sunset

I got up one morning at 7:00 and the moon was still out.

One out of four restaurants in our resort was Brazilian and it was GOOD!

you can't really see it, but there is an iguana in the tree on the left. He was in the same spot the whole trip so we just thought it was a sales pitch!
